Artists For Humanity Open Studio June 2024 featuring AFH Alumna Jahnae Wyatt

Bringing in the summer!

We're thrilled to have AFH alumna Jahnae Wyatt as the Featured Artist at our June Open Studio. Jahnae brings us My Reflections—a collection of art work that navigates the themes of identity politics, cultural values, and the complexities of life experiences.

My Reflections offers a glimpse into Jahnae's own journey of self-discovery. From grappling with the fragility of life following a health diagnosis to confronting the existential questions raised by witnessing traumatic events, each painting in her collection becomes a poignant reflection of her innermost thoughts and emotions.

As a fine artist, Jahnae's work has traveled a path from classical realism to her more contemporary work challenging traditional western themes. She aspires to create dialogue using her own artistic voice, displaying a variety of human experiences and representations of ethnic culture.

Coupled with Jahnae's exhibition, you can join a tour of our seven creative studios and award-winning facility. You will learn about our mission, be immersed in teens' creative work, and discover the magic of AFH.

See you there!
