Motion Graphics

Motion graphics are an integral part of video and graphic design today. Through this opportunity teens build on skills learned in graphics, and train on Adobe After-Effects to draw movies, add animation to live footage, design images and set them into motion. Motion Graphics offers clients of the Arts Micro-enterprise new options for their web and video needs.

AFH youth work with the latest Adobe Software. Using applications such as:
•    Adobe After Effects CS5
•    Adobe Flash CS5
•    Adobe Photoshop CS5
•    Adobe Illustrator CS5

With these skills and tools we have the ability to create identity slates and broadcast tool kits (lower thirds, mortises, bugs).

identity slate- Identity slates are used to introduce the viewer to the company and shows a visual representation of what this company can do, or what they stand for.

lower thirds – These are used to introduce a host, person, place or thing that needs to be represented with a name. Lower thirds are used everywhere and have hundreds of styles.

mortises – These are frequently used to frame a video to give it a more playful feel for the viewer to enjoy.
bugs – Bugs are animated logos that appear on the bottom right or left side of the media screen, reminding the viewer what they are watching.
