Proud recipient of the 2024 Producers' Choice Award
Artists For Humanity (AFH) was honored to receive and celebrate the 2024 Producers' Choice Award by Boston Design Week this year. The design awards' event took place at the famed Boston Architectural College and a small but mighty AFH team attended. AFH Co-founder Jason Talbot accepted the award on behalf of the team. An award like this recognizes AFHs long term commitment to excellence in mission and design, and it took both past and present staff and teens to make it happen!

We were equally thrilled to stand alongside the amazing and diverse group of people being honored that night for the following 2024 Boston Design Week awards—Lifetime Achievement Award, Community Spirit, Mentor of the Year, Social Impact, and Newcomer of the Year.
Times like these remind us to look back on our founding in 1991 when AFH was created as a space for young creatives to thrive—a bridge between raw teen talent and the City of Boston—and take a moment to celebrate the commitment it took to get to where we are today. A powerhouse of art and design, AFH continues to harness the power of mentorship and paid professional experiences to inspire teens to build their future. It offers creative solutions, transforms spaces, and builds social equity.
With studios in Boston and NYC, AFH teens sit at the table with industry professionals where their opinions are valued. Working alongside professional mentors, 400+ teens are employed to design, build, animate, code, photograph, film, paint, and create compelling solutions for our clients. By hiring AFH, our partners contribute to economic vitality, thriving communities and diversifying new networks for the next generation.
