Rewilding the Landscape at Harvard

This past August, Harvard University unveiled their new installations painted by AFH teen artists Asia Gomes, Rose Christian, and Nia Nolan under the guidance of Painting Studio mentor Luis Urena. The teens’ vibrant and inspired art spans the walls of two bike sheds, promoting sustainability and the power of creativity in forming community. To create compelling designs, the teens researched Harvard University, the Harvard Museum of Natural History collections, and the Cambridge biodiversity. An extra bonus—AFH teens received certificates from Harvard honoring their community impact. Read on to hear and see this impactful story.
